At 39 years young, Draco Chu is an Asian American storyteller, traveler, and creator whose life has been shaped by curiosity, culture, and a love of seeing the world. Born in Shanghai and shaped by experiences across the United States, Mexico, and other cultures around the world, Draco developed a lifelong curiosity about people, places, and the connections between them. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from UCLA and later pursued two master’s degrees, further deepening his interest in the world beyond borders.Today, Draco has traveled across 73 countries and territories — and counting — documenting the places he visits, the people he meets, and the stories that make each journey meaningful.An English and Spanish speaker with a lifelong connection to travel and cross-cultural experiences, Draco believes that exploring the world can broaden our perspective, bring people closer together, and reveal more of the good that exists in it.Through @travelwithdraco, he shares his adventures, personal reflections, and experiences along the way, with the hope of inspiring others to stay curious, embrace their own journey, and make the world a little better wherever they go — one experience, one connection, and one act of kindness at a time.
