Draco Chu was born in Shanghai and grew up between China, the Midwest U.S., and Northern California. He is happy to have been living in Los Angeles for the 12 years, and now resides in the tropical paradise of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Draco graduated with a bachelor's in Global Studies from UCLA and East China Teacher's University in 2010, a master's in Higher Education Administration from UCLA in 2011, and a master's in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University in 2016. He is a proud alum of Teach For America.
Every single day, Draco wakes up feeling incredibly grateful for the privileges he now has, despite having grown up in underprivileged environments. Draco is passionate about dedicating his life to service and empowering others to also lead lives they are proud of.
Draco also enjoys traveling the world, exploring new places in general, dining out, local nightlife, running, mindfulness, skincare, and listening to a variety of music stations on Pandora and Spotify. Oh, and long walks on the beach!
